This inaugural DAA Dallas Symposium will be a half-day event filled with engaging speakers, panel discussions on a wide variety of topics as well as networking, food and fun!

- Neil Hoyne, Global Program Manager for Attribution at Google
Leading efforts to bring advertisers stronger insights into the measurement and valuation of their customers' journeys, Neil serves as Google's Global Program Manager for Attribution. Since the program's inception in 2011, he has worked directly with many of the company's largest advertisers to improve their conversion rates through better utilization of Google Analytics, specifically Multi-Channel Funnels, as well as advanced attribution modeling. Before building the program, Neil studied creative optimization and geo-targeting as part of the Display Insights team. Prior to joining the Google, Neil held the position of Director of Analytics for publisher and open-source leader, SourceForge, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the company's quantitative data efforts across their advertising platform, including campaign targeting, reporting and experimentation. Neil holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from Purdue University and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

As a media technologist certified in Google Adwords, AdGooroo, Google Analytics, Bing Ads and other leading technologies, Josh stays abreast of cutting edge digital marketing and measurement tools to maximize the impact of digital media on client goals. He's also a long-time member of the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) Standards Committee, which develops standards and terminology to enable common ways of looking at data measurement and methodologies.
Josh graduated from Florida State University and is a proud member of MENSA.
- John Lovett, Senior Partner, Web Analytics Demystified
Web Analytics Demystified is a consulting firm focused on digital measurement strategy. John is also President for the Digital Analytics Association. He has over a decade of experience analyzing and evaluating web technologies. Since joining Web Analytics Demystified in December of 2009, Mr. Lovett has declared his quest to become a change agent for web analytics by questioning the status quo of vendor measurement practices; challenging clients to fully develop their strategic vision for measurement; and driving the industry to collectively embark on advancement.
- Ned Kumar, Marketing Principal - Web Strategist, FedEx Services
Ned Kumar has over nineteen years of experience in customer analytics, with expertise in both online and offline channels. He currently serves as a Web Strategist and as a corporate advisor in Interactive Marketing & cross-channel analytics with FedEx Services. Throughout his career he has played a leadership role in designing data-driven customer strategies that create an exceptional customer experience and establish a competitive advantage while improving productivity. Ned is a member of various professional organizations, a Certification Board Member at the Digital Analytics Association and also an Online Tutor for the University of British Columbia’s Award of Achievement in Web Analytics Program. In his previous job as an Asst. Professor of Marketing & Management, Ned taught senior level courses in Strategy, Quantitative Analysis, and Decision Support and has numerous conference and journal publications to his credit.
- Eric Swayne, Director of Insights at GolinHarris; Marketing Trainer, Author and Blogger
Eric Swayne is a published author in marketing and business, awardwinning frontend developer and guest blogger for AdAge. He provides strategic thinking in all forms of digital media, as well as frameworks that leverage these channels to gain deeper insight from and relationship with consumers. He has worked with clients across verticals including Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Best Buy, HP, Bank of America, HEB, SuperValu, Bicycle Playing Cards, Famous Footwear, Texas Instruments, American Airlines and the U.S. Treasury. Eric is also on the board of Digital Dallas, a collective group of 850+ members created to showcase great digital work within the DFW metroplex and connect together the digital talent making it happen. Eric graduated from Harding University with a BA in Communication Management, and lives in Denton, TX with his wife and three children. Eric is passionate about holistic online marketing, TweetDeck, Google Chrome, Starcraft and original recipe Dr Pepper.

To get to Davidson Auditorium, which is located in the Naveen Jindal School of Management building, enter the UT Dallas campus through the main entrance, going north on University Parkway. At fork, turn right onto Armstrong Dr, at stop sign turn right to continue along Armstrong Dr. At stop sign at A drive, turn left. At 4-way stop at Drive A and Drive G, turn right. At yield sign, turn right onto W. Lookout Dr, then turn left into Parking Lot B. Park in Lot B or A in E-Parking spaces only. Locate orange tent for shuttle to the Symposium at the Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Complimentary parking is available in Lot B or A (in E-Parking spaces only). Please print out the parking permit [PDF 378kb], fold on line and place permit on dashboard near steering wheel. Please note: All information above fold must remain visible. Cars without the attached visible permit will be subject to ticketing.
