Between October 1 and December 31, 2012, every member you refer, and who joins, will earn you a Starbucks gift card and entries into a prize pool of over $1300. New Corporate members earn you even more entries into the drawing.

Member Get a Member (MGAM) Details

1. Tell your friends and colleagues about the contest and direct them to complete the online membership form. Be sure they enter the “Referred By” field with your name and company.
2. Once the new member’s membership dues are paid in full (by December 31, 2012), you will receive a $5 electronic Starbucks gift card, and be entered into the prize pool. The prize pool will consist of American Express gift cards, ranging in value from $100 up to $500. There’s no limit on the number of entries into the prize pool, so don’t be shy in sharing the DAA benefits with your friends and colleagues.
3. A “Leader Board” will be posted on the DAA website every two weeks

Contest Guidelines

1. Every current member who provides a valid referral who joins the association will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card. These will be sent via email by DAA Staff.
2. In addition, there will be a prize pool with cash prizes which will be distributed as follows. At the end of the contest period, the top 3 referrers will receive American Express gift cards in the following amounts:
   1. Top referrer ($500)
   2. 2nd place ($300)
   3. 3rd place ($200)

   A random drawing will be conducted from the prize pool for the remaining 3 $100 prizes.

3. For every new Individual Professional member that a current DAA member refers and joins by December 31, 2012, they receive one entry into the prize pool. If a current member refers a colleague (working at the same company), to join DAA, they are eligible for the Individual Professional member referral incentive.
4. For every new Corporate member that a current DAA member refers, they receive a $25 Starbucks gift card, along with 5 entries into the prize pool. Their Corporate member referral will also count as 5 entries into the overall leaderboard. Current Individual (Academic, Professional, Emerging) members who refer their own company as a Corporate Member are eligible for the Corporate member referral incentive.
5. Only membership applications that have a completed “Referred By” field will be counted towards the MGAM program. DAA cannot accept any entries that come in via phone, email, or any other method.
