Why is the DAA having the Championship?
Our intention is to create an opportunity where Web Analysts can interact and share their professional knowledge with their fellow analysts in the Web Analytics community. As part of our efforts to promote the Web Analytics field, the DAA choose to launch the Web Analytics Championship on the official DAA Web site. We believe that this will be a wonderful opportunity for Web Analysts to have some "analytical fun”, share their knowledge and if you are really good, win prizes!
How long does the contest last?
DAA members will have 4 weeks total to analyze the site and submit their insights regarding how to improve the Web site. Starting November 1st with the submission deadline of December 1st.
Who can participate?
Only DAA members may register to the championship and win.
What are the prizes?
The first prize will be an eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit – the Official Summit of the DAA – pass and there will also be three (3) trophies so our winners can astound their peers and friends with physical proof of their analytics prowess.
All winners will be announced in our monthly newsletter and on our website.
Also the top winner will have the right to include a special "DAA champion” badge to his/her website or blog; and there will also be a "Top 5 Web Analyst” badge. We will provide the Top 5 winners a place to upload their analysis to the DAA website in case they wish and link back to their website or blog.
