Througout the year the DAA produces and hosts its own events and workshops as well as participating in many industry conferences. DAA produced events and workshops include DAA Base Camp and Storytelling Workshops, DAA Awards for Excellence Gala, and DAA Symposiums. The official summit of the DAA is the eMetrics Summit. At most Summits, throughout the world, you'll find DAA activities, member meetings, and gatherings where you can talk with other members, directors of the board and staff.
Storytelling is a popular concept in data analysis circle these days. Thatâ€™s good! But itâ€™s one thing to know that you should craft persuasive and factual stories from your data, and yet another to know how to do it.

DAA Base Camp Workshops
DAA Base Camps are face to face full-day workshops instructed by DAA professional members. They are delivered as pre-conference workshops at the DAA Symposiums and eMetrics Summit, the official Summit of the DAA. Not all workshops are delivered in all cities.
The DAA Symposiums bring world class speakers to where digital analytics professionals are located and makes it more convenient, less expensive, and less time away from the office to learn from experts whom they would not normally be able to hear in person.

DAA Awards for Excellence Gala
The Awards for Excellence Gala celebrates the outstanding contributions to our profession by individuals, agencies, vendors and practitioners. It's an evening to honor your colleagues, clients and partners, starting with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and then the awards presentations. You do not need to attend the eMetrics Summit to attend the DAA Awards for Excellence Gala, and you can register through either eMetrics or the DAA.
This year's Gala was held on March 18, 2014 at the Marriott Marquis.
The Official Conference of the DAA
Marketing executives, managers, and business intelligence experts have been meeting at the eMetrics Summit since 2002 to increase the return on their marketing investments.
