DAA Toronto Chapter Event | Learn to build your own analytics tools leveraging Google APIs

With a bit of Google Apps Script, the possibilities to build your own tools around Google products grow exponentially. Focusing on Google Analytics products like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or BigQuery, you can make your analyst's everyday-life way easier. Leverage GTM, GA, BigQuery APIs to create solutions tailored to your very specific needs by overcoming the limits in these tools' interfaces and work directly with their core functionalities. No need to be a seasoned developer or a data engineer to make this work. All you need is a bit of basic JavaScript, familiarity with spreadsheets, enthusiasm, and you are set to start creating tools.

Ani Lopez is a Sr. Measurement Strategist working as Analytics Consultant at Google Cloud Platform via Team Demystified. Ani has helped companies like Electronic Arts, Expedia, or ASICS, to develop measurement strategies for their digital properties. From the technicalities of data collection, strategy around automated reporting and dashboards, analysis, governance, or measurement culture advocacy & education, he’s worked on every aspect of Digital Analytics.
