You are cordially invited to the Digital Analytics Association Vancouver Chapter winter event! Join us to kick off the New Year with an education evening around two hot topics!

Damon Gudaitis, Principal at Caret Juice Marketing and DAA Vancouver Chapter Leader, will open up the evening with a presentation on the recent changes brought by ITP, ETP, and same site cookies. In this presentation, you will learn how tracking happens, the changes browsers are making to stop companies from tracking people across the web, and how to understand the impacts on online marketing and mitigate the effects of these changes on your organization.

Julia Zhou, Digital Analytics Implementation from Best Buy Canada will speak about some of the key learnings from her work at Best Buy on analytics implementation for multiple Single Page Applications (SPAs), the common challenges, and how to resolve them. In particular, Julia will walk us through a presentation on the rise of react and single page applications in web development, and how cookie-cutter implementation and pixels are quickly becoming outdated as a framework for tracking core metrics and dimensions analytics have always depended on.

With expertise in analytics, SEO, content, and paid campaign strategies, Julia is passionate about understanding the “why” behind online data, especially pertaining to user behaviour, internet trends and marketing attribution.
