The next meeting of the DAA Media Special Interest Group (SIG) will be held on Thursday, February 28 2019.
You must register in advance to attend this meeting. Building security will need a list of attendees. The Media SIG meeting is by invitation only and is non-transferable and is open to DAA members only.
Lunch will be provided, courtesy of Kate Downey and DowJones/WSJ. There will be drinks and networking following the event.

Topic 1: Video Measurement Discussion
Blandon Casenave of NBCUniversal will facilitate this topic. Questions/topics to be addressed: Adobe and Nielsen are going to stop offering a combined video SDK. For those impacted, how will you handle this change in process? Use their separate SDKs or look to other vendors? What other vendors are companies using for media analytics and are they happy with them? How are companies ingesting off-domain video data through affiliate partners like Comcast, Verizon, Hulu, and YouTube? Are they using Federated Analytics through Adobe? What struggles are you experiencing with your process? There will be ample time for Q&A and sharing.
Topic 2: Social Media Measurement
This is an open group discussion, please be prepared to share your tools and experience. Any charts or data you wish to share in advance can be added as well. We will explore,with your input, current practices in social media measurement for media, and such timely discussion items as how are you measuring the success of your social media? What tools are you using? Is it still even important to your strategy? How do the recent Facebook events affect your spend? What kind of reporting are you doing on social for your management? Kate Downey of Dow Jones/WSJ will moderate.
