Jon Brescia, Director, Adjudications & Technology
Jon Brescia is a privacy and forensic technology specialist. Part attorney, part tech guy, he is equally comfortable drafting legal arguments or analyzing network traffic logs. Jon currently serves as the Director of Adjudications and Technology for the Online Interest-Based Advertising Accountability Program at the Council of Better Business Bureaus. In this position, Jon supervises the monitoring and investigation of companies’ interest-based advertising practices to ensure that they comply with the Digital Advertising Alliance’s cross-industry principles. Prior to joining the Accountability Program, Jon worked as a private attorney in Columbus, Ohio, on small business and criminal litigation matters. Before that, he performed legislative, regulatory, and statistical research for the Ohio School Employees Health Care Board, which was tasked with reforming state public school employees’ health care plans.
