Ben Garvey is a Senior Engineering Manager for Betterment and into charts maybe a little too much. Before that he was one of the early team members at RJMetrics which was later acquired by Magento and Adobe. He co-organizes the Philadelphia Data Visualization meetup and has spoken at events in Philly, New York, and San Francisco including Ignite Philly, DataJawn, Data Point Live, and The DAA Annual Symposium.

Melissa & Praneet work with Vanguard’s International digital analytics team to enable data driven decision making with our international businesses. But with 4 people managing digital analytics for 26 different websites automation is key. And so, we began swimming in the Data Lake. They explain how they’re building Adobe in the lake, and some of the governance, quality, consistency challenges they hit along the way.
