Join the DAA Search SIG for our 2021 Kickoff Town Hall event. We are hosting a 90-minute online session open to all DAA members at noon eastern on Friday, January 29.
We will feature a panel of search marketers to talk about their outlooks on 2020 plus important topics in the search and analytics industry. Topics will include what is necessary to be successful, career growth, diversity, attribution, the intersection of paid and organic, and more.
The event will wrap up with an intimate opportunity to engage with speakers and others in small groups in breakout rooms. Each room will feature a key topic chosen by our panel and you.

Mary Owusu, CEO, Gurubound.com, Leadsable.com
Mary is a digital marketing executive, entrepreneur, and educator. She began her career in 2002 as a Search Marketer and took on progressively increasing roles before becoming Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy and Analytics at a respected marketing agency where she oversaw a multi-disciplinary, cross-location team.
In her job as Assistant Professor of Marketing at Canisius College, her focus is on democratizing digital marketing for undergraduate- and graduate-level students of all backgrounds and experiences. Mary is also CEO of Gurubound.com and Leadsable.com -- two firms dedicated to helping marketing teams run highly effective marketing campaigns.
For her contributions to the search and analytics fields, Mary has received numerous awards including the American Marketing Association's FOUR Under 40 Emerging Leaders award, and Digital Analytics Association's Difference Maker award.
Corey Morris, Chief Strategy Officer, Voltage
Corey serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Voltage. He has spent 15 years working in strategic and leadership roles focused on growing national and local client brands with award-winning, ROI-generating digital strategies. He's a recent recipient of the KCDMA 2019 Marketer of the Year award.
In addition to his role at Voltage, he has served on the global board of SEMPO (now part of DAA) as the VP of Cities and previously led the local SEMPO Cities initiative in Kansas City upon founding the KC Search Marketing Conference. His role in establishing the conference was recognized by being presented the SEMPO Skyscraper Award. He is currently a VIP contributor to Search Engine Journal, a contributor to Forbes, speaks locally and through North America on SEO and digital marketing topics including at SMX events, and formerly served as co-host of a monthly tech radio show.
