The Governments of Canada and Quebec are both in the process of updating privacy laws giving Canadians protections similar to those enjoyed by EU citizens. California is rapidly adapting increasingly strict privacy laws and the US is starting to awake to the needs for personal data protections.
Safari, Firefox, Brave, and even Chrome are changing the rules for cookie use to protect their users from tracking while Apple’s operating systems are layering further protections.
In this complex and rapidly evolving digital data environment, join the Digital Analytics Association Toronto and Vancouver chapters for a Q&A session on privacy and personal data with digital analytics consultant, Desjardins/Equifax whistleblower, and #NoConsentNoTracking advocate Stéphane Hamel.
Register now so you can submit and vote on questions for Stéphane.
Following the Q&A session meet and network with your peers in a personal data mystery breakout session.
The Mystery?
Someone received some dangerously bad data. You don’t know who. Thanks to some lax personal data controls, you do have their recent browser history.
Using this browser history, your wits, and all that the Internet has to offer, track down who received this dangerously bad data.
