Finding and addressing data quality issues is challenging because these issues hide in the hardest places to find. One solution is to go on a "data walk," which maps out how data is collected, where it comes from, how it is handled along the way, and where it is exposed. These walks are critical for identifying logical errors or data capture errors. They are also useful when determining what should be monitored to ensure data quality metrics are caught as early as possible.
