DAA Global Membership Elects 2017-18 Directors and Officers
Amy Sample of PBS is new DAA President
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – July 7, 2017 – The Digital Analytics Association (DAA) today announced its 2017-18 Board of Directors, the results of an election held recently among the DAA's members worldwide.
Four new Directors were elected to two-year terms: Jennifer Frigault, Vice President, Business Intelligence, Gannett; Valerie Kroll, Director, Digital Analytics & Optimization, UBS; Aaron Maass, Managing Director, Maass Media; and Ian Thomas, Principal Group Manager, Customer Data & Analytics, Microsoft.
Incumbent Directors Adam Greco, Senior Partner, Analytics Demystified; Ned Kumar, Marketing Principal, FedEx Services; and Amy Sample, Sr. Director, Digital Analytics, PBS were re-elected.
The Board also voted to elect the following Officers for the 2017-18 year:
- Chair Jim Sterne, Founder, eMetrics Summit
- President Amy Sample, Sr. Director of Strategic Insights, PBS
- Vice President Rusty Rahmer, Head of Enterprise Digital Intelligence & Web Analytics, Vanguard
- Treasurer Adam Greco, Sr. Partner, Analytics Demystified
- Secretary Valerie Kroll, Director, Digital Analytics & Optimization, UBS
"Every day we see that digital analytics is becoming a bigger part of data-driven business decisions and driving revenue. Our new board reflects the diversity and experience of the data analytics profession and our membership. They will ensure that our members are prepared for the challenges of the future," said Marilee Yorchak, Executive Director of the DAA.
“I look forward to leading the DAA Board this year,” said Ms. Sample. “As a long-time member, I know the DAA plays a critical role in developing and supporting the digital analytics profession. I will work closely with the other DAA officers, board, and members to ensure that together we achieve our vision of a better digital world through data.”
