2011 Awards for Excellence Winners Revealed at WAA Gala

Wakefield, MA – March 16, 2011 – On March 15th at the WAA (Web Analytics Association) Spring Awards Gala in San Francisco, CA the WAA revealed the winners for their inaugural WAA Awards for Excellence. The gala was held in conjunction with the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit, the official conference of the WAA, and the awards recognized the exceptional contributions of individuals, agencies, practitioners and vendors in the web analytics field. The WAA received over 80 nominations in five categories, and, with the assistance of its membership and an esteemed panel of judges, narrowed finalists down to one award recipient in each category.
The five categories for the Awards for Excellence included: Web Analytics Rising Star, Most Influential Industry Contributor, Most Influential Agency or Vendor, Practitioner of the Year and Innovator or Technology of the Year. The inaugural WAA Awards for Excellence winners include:
- Michelle Hinojosa, Red Door Interactive - Web Analytics Rising Star
- Analysis Exchange - Most Influential Agency or Vendor
- Avinash Kaushik, Google - Most Influential Industry Contributor
- Joe Megibow, Expedia – Client or Practitioner of the Year
- Beyond Web Analytics Exchange – Innovator or Technology of the Year
