Web Analytics Association Announces 2011 - 2012 Board of Directors

Wakefield, MA – April 29, 2011 – The WAA (Web Analytics Association), the global advocate for the online marketing analytics profession, today announced its 2011 - 2012 Board of Directors after a nearly record-breaking number of votes from its membership.

The newly elected board members who will each serve a two-year term include:
  • Shari Cleary, vice president of digital research, entertainment and games, MTV Networks
  • Joe Megibow, vice president, mobile and e-commerce optimization, Expedia
  • Jodi McDermott, senior director, product management, comScore
  • Bob Page, vice president, data and analytics platform, eBay
  • Peter Sanborn, group manager, Microsoft (re-elected)
  • Ed Wu, marketing director, Dell (re-elected)
  • Alex Yoder, president and CEO, WebTrends (re-elected)
Returning board members who were not up for election this year but who will continue to serve on the WAA Board of Directors include:
  • Vicky Brock, CEO, Highland Business Research
  • June Dershewitz, director of web analytics and customer insight, Apollo Group
  • John Lovett, senior partner and principal consultant, Web Analytics Demystified
  • Dennis Mortensen, founder and CEO, Visual Revenue
  • Jim Sterne, president, Target Marketing and founder, eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit
