Digital Analytics Association Announces 2013 - 2014 Board of Directors

Digital Analytics Experts Ned Kumar, Isabelle Mouli-Castillo and Steve Petitpas Join Board 

Wakefield, MA—May 22, 2013— The Digital Analytics Association (DAA) today announced its 2013 - 2014 Board of Directors as a result of a global election held in April/May among the almost 3,000 DAA members. This year there were a total of seven seats available and as a result three notable digital marketing experts, Ned Kumar, Isabelle Mouli-Castillo and Steve Petitpas, joined the board as new members, while four current members, Shari Cleary, Jodi McDermott, Joe Megibow and Bob Page, were re-elected.

The elected board members, who will each serve a two-year term, include:

  • Ned Kumar, interactive marketing strategist, FedEx Services
  • Isabelle Mouli-Castillo, executive director of Global On Line, Dell   
  •  Steve Petitpas, general manager of Microsoft.com, Studios & Event Marketing, Microsoft Corporation
  • Shari Cleary, vice president of digital media research, Viacom Media Networks (Re-elected)
  • Jodi McDermott, vice president of product management and N. America consulting, comScore (Re-elected)
  • Joe Megibow, senior vice president/general manager of omni-channel eCommerce, American Eagle (Re-elected)
  • Bob Page, vice president of products, Hortonworks (Re-elected)              

"This year's DAA board nominees produced an extremely talented group of digital analytics leaders and professionals. Ned Kumar brings over seventeen years of experience in customer analytics in both online and offline channels to his role as FedEx’s interactive marketing strategist. He serves as a corporate advisor in interactive marketing and cross-channel analytics for FedEx Services with emphasis on driving customer value & engagement. France-based, Isabelle Mouli-Castillo leads Dell’s Global On Line Analytics Test and Target team with a vision to become the best in class innovation engine through incorporating insightful analytics to test innovative ideas and improve the customer journey. Steve Petitpas specializes in leading Mircosoft’s key "owned” marketing channels including www.microsoft.com (a top 10 global reach website); Microsoft Production Studios, which creates and distributes media productions for both internal and external clients; and the Microsoft Worldwide Events group.

Returning board members, who were not up for election this year, but who will continue to serve on the DAA Board of Directors include:

  • Terry Cohen, senior vice president of strategy and analytics, Digitas
  • Peter Fader, professor of marketing, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
  • Eric Feinberg, senior director of mobile, media and entertainment, ForeSee
  • John Lovett, senior partner, Web Analytics Demystified
  • Jim Sterne, Target Marketing consultant, author and eMetrics Summit conference producer
