Simo Ahava, 8-bit-sheep

Simo Ahava is a recognized expert on customizing web analytics and tag management solutions to improve the entire “life cycle” of data collection, processing, and reporting. His main areas of expertise lie with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and Google has appointed him as a Google Developer Expert in these fields. He is especially interested in communication structures within organizations, as he firmly believes that communication breakdowns are the underlying cause to practically all data-related problems.
Simo is particularly invested in demystifying analytics development work, and his main focus is on increasing awareness, skills, and critical thinking around data and development
Simo is a partner and co-founder at 8-bit-sheep. He also writes a popular blog on all things Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager development at www.simoahava.com. An experienced speaker and prolific blogger, Simo can be seen and heard in conferences, product forums, support communities, and developer meet-ups alike.
Brent Dykes, Blast Analytics

Brent Dykes is Senior Director of Insights and Data Storytelling at Blast Analytics. He is also the author of Effective Data Storytelling: How to Drive Change with Data, Narrative, and Visuals. Brent has more than 15 years of enterprise analytics experience at Omniture, Adobe, and Domo. His passion for data strategy and data storytelling comes from consulting with many industry leaders including Nike, Microsoft, Sony, and Comcast. He is a regular Forbes contributor and has written more than 35 articles on different data-related topics. In 2016, Brent received the Most Influential Industry Contributor Award from the Digital Analytics Association (DAA). He is a popular speaker at conferences such as Strata, Web Summit, Shop.org, Adtech, Pubcon, RISE, Crunch, and Adobe Summit. Brent holds an MBA from Brigham Young University and a BBA in marketing from Simon Fraser University.

Tim Gillman, Adswerve

Tim Gillman is a Senior Digital Analyst at Adswerve, based out of Denver, CO. At Adswerve helps clients with all manner of analytics implementations. His expertise includes tag management, a/b testing implementation, and analytics training. Outside of analytics, Tim enjoys reading, cooking, and playing drums for heavy metal bands.
Henry Webster, Kelly Scott Madison

Henry Webster, SVP, Analytics & Insights at Kelly Scott Madison, is a data junkie. He thrives on analytics and has a keen ability to simplify information into snackable bites and compelling narratives. As SVP, Analytics & Insights, he drives analytics, technology, and insight excellence across Kelly Scott Madison’s client base. Within his practice he builds seamless reporting, test-and-learn strategies, predictive modeling programs and ensures that clients remain at the forefront a rapidly changing data landscape. Prior to KSM, Henry served as VP of Advanced Analytics and Insights at Starcom. While there, he helped clients take aggressive leaps forward through data enablement and implementation. As the Advanced Analytics lead for Kraft and MARS-Wrigley, Henry demonstrated and enhanced the effective application of data on behalf of each portfolio client, drove KPI management, and led a team of analytics experts.
Jason Case, Blast Analytics

Jason is an honest, fun-loving person who loves solving complex problems. He feels it truly is the best part of every position he’s ever had, and if you know anything about consulting then you know your clients can bring forth some of the most challenging issues to solve. He has learned much about team management and development over the past 12 years managing fellow consultants and working with clients. Jason is an expert in Web Analytics and JavaScript and loves working at Blast. His technical background has opened many doors along his journey in consulting. Having the ability to discuss business requirements and boil them down into a technical discussion with a developer has been a boon to his career. He finds that he learns quickly and can refine processes which allows him to be more efficient and to get more done in a shorter amount of time. This has helped Jason adapt to the needs of those around him and better find the customized solution that is right instead of the generic one that seems to be given to everybody. Jason is very much a family man and spends most of his free time with his wife and four kids. There is nothing more important to him than his family.
Dan Vivaldelli, InfoTrust

Dan is a Lead Analysis and Data Visualization Specialist at InfoTrust with a decade worth of experience in helping CPG brands gain insight into their customers' behavior through analytics. Given his background in e-commerce, merchandising and marketing, Dan spends most of his time helping e-commerce clients better understand their customers. Dan has a BS in Informatics from Indiana University, holds an MS in Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame and is a DAA Chicago Chapter Leader.
Mai AlOwaish, InfoTrust

Mai Alowaish is a digital marketing consultant and delivery team lead at InfoTrust, specializing in cross-device analytics for websites and mobile applications. With over a decade of experience in digital analytics and eCommerce applications, Mai has implemented a variety of analytics solutions for online retailers, financial institutions, airlines and more. Mai is an active member and mentor with DAA, and the recipient of the 2019 DAA President’s Award.
Enrico Pavan, Analytics Boosters

Enrico Pavan is the Founder and President of Analytics Boosters, a company focused on data-driven marketing. He is a certified analytics expert, user experience and conversion rate optimization consultant, as well as writer, speaker and trainer (16+ years). He consulted for several leading Italian and international finance, retail, B2C, B2B companies, as well as for eCommerce, gambling, fashion and travel firms. As a speaker he took part in major events related to data analytics and also held digital analytics classes at the prestigious University of Ca 'Foscari in Venice (Statistics Course) and at Padua’s University (MBA) In 2014/15/16/18 he was shortlisted for practitioner of the year and most influential contributor in DAA Awards/Quanties. In 2019/2020 nominated as MAS Milan Chairman and in 2018/2019 he wrote two chapters for the Applied Analytics Marketing Journal (Henry Steward Publication).
Maribeth Gregory, Search Discovery
Maribeth Gregory has over 14 years of analytics experience with enterprise level analytics tools including Adobe. She has a proven record of independently designing and managing analytics engagements. She specializes in corporate training, optimization and measurement strategies. Her clients have included OneMain Financial, Goldman Sachs, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Avalara, Pitney Bowes. Maribeth has led dozens of Analytics and Optimization training programs for both client and internal audiences. She has authored Adobe content and excels at onsite and virtual training. She has been awarded Jersey’s Best Marketing and Communication Professionals under 40 (April, 2015) and Adobe Target Business Practitioner.
Todd Belcher, Neustar, Inc.
Todd is a customer data usefulness enthusiast with twenty years of digital analytics and marketing experience. Over the last 5+ years, he has had the opportunity to work alongside dozens of organizations on their customer data platform implementations. As an independent analyst, Todd self-published an overview of 95 customer data platform software providers to help reduce some of the confusion common with CDPs. Today, he is a customer identity solutions engineer within Neustar’s marketing solutions group, helping companies derive more value from customer data responsibly.

Emily Kubic, Securian Financial
Emily, Analytics Solution Architect at Securian Financial, has worked in almost all aspects of digital analytics, from reporting and visualization to designing and implementing analytics solutions. In the course of her career, she has also supported a variety of industries, verticals, and teams, helping her partners measure and optimize everything from shopping cart funnels to content. She holds two degrees, one in UX and user-centered experience design, and the other in computer science.
Lara Fisher, Blast Analytics

Lara Fisher is a Senior Analytics Strategist with over 25 years of experience in the analytics industry. Lara has worked at industry leaders such as SiriusXM, Discovery Communications, and comScore. She has expertise in both Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. She holds a Masters Degree from the John Hopkins University Carey School of Business and second Masters Degree in eBusiness from the University of Maryland.
Lori Brok, surefoot

Lori began her journey into the field of digital analytics in April 2019. She is an analytics specialist at a boutique experimentation agency. Previous professional roles include school social worker, director of operations at a non-profit, server, and AmeriCorps Member.
Zara Palevani, Cardinal Path Center of Excellence

Zara has over a decade of experience in product and project management in the Digital Analytics field. She has worked across multiple marketing disciplines in both large and small technology and professional services companies. At Cardinal Path, Zara and her teams partner with enterprise clients to help with their full Google Marketing Platform strategic service support. Zara spends her free time with family, volunteers for DAA, acts on the board of Ottawa Project Management Institute Chapter and plays basketball.
Taylor Cruz, Connecticut Portal (CT.gov)
With 5 years in the analytics industry, Taylor works for NIC Inc., the leading company of e-government services. As part of the Connecticut Portal, Taylor is the website analytics and data lead for the Connecticut state website, agency websites, and various Connecticut state applications developed by NIC. Inc.

Puja Ghosh, JP Morgan and Chase
Puja is a Vice President at JP Morgan and Chase where she is a Digital Product Owner and Relationship Manager. Her multi-disciplinary approach to data is used to drive strategy and feature development. At the end of the day everything is driven by human stories and actions and trying to get that full picture is what drives her. Similarly at work she is driven to build a better and more inclusive work environment for all with her work with the Voices for Employees That Served Business Resource Group (VETS BRG).
Previous to banking Puja worked in the Defense Industry and allows her Military Intelligence training to influence her current data philosophies. Outside of Digital Product Ownership and Strategy, Puja enjoys reading, classical Indian dance, and time with her family.
Mary Owusu, GuruBound.com
Mary Owusu is CEO at GuruBound.com and professor of marketing at Canisius College. She began her career in 2002 as a search marketer and took on progressively increasing roles before being named an SEO pioneer by Adweek, and becoming Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy and Analytics at a respected marketing agency. In 2020, Mary left her corporate job to found her own learning platform, GuruBound.com, where she’s empowering marketers, content creators, and young adults to build up their digital marketing and analytics skills and propel their careers. Always looking to influence the world around her, Mary is also involved in two boards--Future In Our Hands USA which funds sustainable projects in Kenya and Zambia, and the Digital Analytics Association (*the* global association for the digital analytics community) where she’s an executive board member. For her contributions, Mary has received numerous awards including the FOUR under 40 Emerging Leaders award from the American Marketing Association, and the ATHENA Award for her commitment to empowering others, especially women and minorities like herself.

Joe Sutherland, Search Discovery
Joe is a digital transformation expert and scientist, focusing on the integration of data science and artificial intelligence into executable corporate strategies. He is the Head of Data Science at Search Discovery, where he leads groundbreaking data science initiatives for a diverse clientele of Fortune 500 and startup clients, including some of the most admired companies in the world. He was a founder at the artificial intelligence startup Peachtree AI, and an initial team member at the fintech startup Prattle, both of which successfully exited in 2019. Prior to that, he has held roles since 2006 at Columbia, Princeton, The White House, and the web consulting shop CLEVER Analytics. His academic research received a citation from the National Science Foundation in 2017, and he is presently affiliated as a Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University.
Valerie Kroll, Search Discovery
​Valerie is passionate about data, like really passionate about data, and leverages that enthusiasm to help stakeholders make smarter decisions and mitigate the inherent risk that comes with digital experimentation. As an Optimization Director at Search Discovery, she spends her days crafting evidence-based hypothesis libraries, utilizing advanced AI features in testing platforms, and creatively solving tough problems to ensure long-lasting business results. Prior to her current role, Valerie established and led the first Digital Analytics and Optimization programs at both UBS and the American Medical Association, and currently serves as the Chair of the DAA Board of Directors.
Julie Shallman, Search Discovery
Julie appreciates the complexity and volume of data out there, but recognizes it can be frustrating to decision makers. Her passion is taking complex ideas and boiling them down into something digestible. She uses her knowledge of analytics and optimization to help her clients across various industries find actionable solutions to their complex business questions. From the numbers to the stakeholders, she enjoys each step of the journey data must take to become a decision.
Declan Owens, AT Internet
Experienced in digital project management and solutions, Declan has been working in Digital Analytics for several years now and gained enough knowledge to be recognized as an expert by his peers. Declan first started in traffic management in a digital communication agency mostly working on strategies for digital platforms to acquire quality traffic via SEO, online advertising, social networks, etc. Declan then decided to specialize in digital analytics by joining AT Internet, a leading vendor on the market. After becoming an expert on the Analytics Suite, while managing several large analytics projects internationally and leading teams of consultants, Declan has acquired a complete knowledge of how to answer business needs thanks to data. He permanently upholds a philosophy of sustainability in his counsel, going beyond the pure technical aspects of the job, reaching out further and solving problems on topics such as privacy or company management.
Greg Dowling, Glassbox Digital
An expert in enterprise analytics and mobile measurement with over twenty years’ experience in the industry, Greg is the Global Director of Business Insights for Glassbox. He is a highly technical and data-driven analytics change agent, trusted advisor, and effective leader delivering actionable insights through data and creative storytelling. His professional experience includes Digital Analytics Strategy and Measurement Enablement Services, with a focus on helping customers determine Key Performance Indicators, Data Visualization Solutions, and Data Democratization Strategies.
