Patrick Brown, Nurun: Managing Client analytics
Patrick Brown is a talented, multifaceted web professional with over 15 years of experience in the planning, developing, maintaining and optimizing of both large and small scale web sites and web applications. His web site experience spans a variety of industries, including BTB and BTC retail (Walmart Canada, Home Depot Canada, Sears Canada, Acklands-Grainger), entertainment (Universal Pictures), banking (TD Bank, BMO, Scotiabank), pharma (Pfizer, GlaxoSmith Kline) and grocery (Loblaws).
Patrick has been with Nurun in Toronto for over 7 years and as the manager of the analytics team, he leads the implementation of enterprise-wide web analytics tools such as SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics and Coremetrics. Patrick also leads the reporting team in the delivery of the data-focused analysis, insights and recommendations on site performance and marketing efforts to both internal and external project stakeholders.
Phil Gross, Vice President, Product Management, Visual IQ
Phil Gross is vice president of product management at Visual IQ. He is responsible for the product management of and innovation strategy for the IQ Intelligence Suite of state-of-the-art cross channel marketing attribution software products. Phil is a recognized expert in cross channel marketing attribution solutions. Phil has a background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and has a strong background of building products that businesses use to achieve their goals. Prior to Visual IQ, Phil held a variety of operations, marketing and product management roles at the QuickBase division of Intuit. As part of his time at Intuit, he led the team that considered, purchased, and implemented a cross channel marketing performance and attribution solution. He also has more than fifteen years of deep domain expertise in software as a service, performance analytics, customer relationship management, and knowledge management.
Kelly Peters, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner, BEworks
Kelly Peters is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at BEworks, a behavioral economics firm, she co-founded along with Dan Ariely and a team of academics and business leaders. She has over twenty years’ experience leading strategy, technology and innovation in major financial services, including RBC Royal Bank of Canada and BMO Bank of Montreal. Kelly earned an MBA from Dalhousie University with a concentration in financial services.
She has overseen the launch of several new business ventures that capitalized on insights into consumer behavior. Her interest in behavioral science stems back to the late 90s when working on behavioral scoring models in credit risk and online distribution models, evolved through behavioral finance, and finally culminated in 2008 when she embraced behavioral economics as the most foundational approach to executing strategy at the people level.
