Simon Dumenco

Simon Dumenco, Editor-at-Large and Media Columnist, Ad Age

Simon Dumenco is editor-at-large and “Media Guy” media columnist at Advertising Age. Among his previous gigs: editorial director of Ad Age; founding editorial director of nymag.com, New York Magazine's website; editor of Colors, the international culture magazine; consulting executive editor on the launch of O: The Oprah Magazine; features editor at New York Magazine; executive editor at Seventeen; and managing editor at Baltimore’s City Paper. His writing has appeared in publications including Allure, Esquire, Glamour, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and publications around the world including GQ Korea, Russian Vogue, and Courrier Japon (Japan). At Advertising Age, he pioneered the publication’s data-driven reporting by creating editorial partnerships with data-analytics companies including Bluefin Labs and Trendrr (both later acquired by Twitter) and iSpot.tv. He also led the publication’s award-winning, data-driven campaign coverage during the 2016 election cycle.



Jeffrey Oak

Jeffrey Oak, PhD, Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility, Bon Secours Health System, Inc.

Jeffrey Oak is Senior Vice President at Bon Secours Health System, Inc. (BSHSI), a $3.4 billion, non-profit, integrated health system with 22,000 employees operating in 6 states. Under his leadership BSHSI's ethics and compliance (E&C) helpline has been recognized as a "top ten" portal in the US; both its conflict of interest process and E&C education received best practice awards through a national, peer reviewed process; and BSHSI was recognized for innovation in E&C by both EY and the Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University. In addition to E&C, Jeff provides executive oversight for philanthropy, research, policy, governance and behavioral health. Prior to BSHSI, he was the Chief Business Integrity Officer with the Veterans Health Administration, the largest integrated health system in the US.

Jeffrey currently serves as: Board Chair of Blumont Inc.; Board Secretary for Gettysburg College; Independent Member of the Board Audit and Integrity Committee for Trinity Health; Kallman Executive Fellow at the Hoffman Center for Business Ethics; and Expert Review Panel member for Global Ethics and Integrity Benchmarks. He previously served on the Board of the Health Care Compliance Association, the Advisory Group for the Ethics Resource Center Fellows Program, and President of the Yale Divinity School Alumni Board.

He has presented and/or published for organizations such as the Ethics Resource Center (now part of the Ethics and Compliance Initiative), American Health Lawyers Association, Bentley University Global Business Ethics Symposium, American Inns of Court, the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association (ECI), and the Health Care Compliance Association. He was recently quoted in Working Mother Magazine in an article entitled "What Happens When Men Support Women of Color in the Workplace." He holds a PhD in ethics from Yale.

Sam Ruchlewicz

Sam Ruchlewicz, Senior Strategist, Warschawski

Sam brings a diverse background spanning finance, business and marketing communications to Warschawski. As the agency's Senior Strategist, Sam oversees client accounts and is responsible for both the strategic direction and execution of all integrated digital marketing & data analytics initiatives. He embraces the cross-pollination of ideas to create innovative, results-driven strategies that help clients uncover hidden opportunities, optimize their marketing spends and drive bottom-line revenue growth. Since joining Warschawski, Sam has led marketing communications & data analytics projects for numerous clients, including Biologics Consulting, Hogan Lovells, Global Telecom Brokers, the Law Offices of Evan K. Thalenberg, P.A. & Alex Cooper Auction House, among others. Sam is a published author and frequent guest blogger on the topics of Advanced Analytics & Data Modeling, SEO, SEM, Display/Video Advertising, Business Analytics & Content Marketing. He is a frequent contributor to some of the digital marketing industry's top publications, including Convince & Convert, Duct Tape Marketing & Marketing Insider.


Matthew Wakeman

Matthew Wakeman, Senior Director, Analytics & EPAM Systems

Matt Wakeman tries to ask insightful questions, and work with teams to answer them. Starting with nearly a decade in technology strategy, market research and predictive analytics, he next spent over a decade guiding clients in digital strategy and analytics. He currently leads EPAM’s Enterprise Analytics solutions consulting team, which creates enterprise cultural transformation programs around data-driven decision-making, improving business outcomes and empowering IT and business collaboration across all functions – sales, marketing, operations, finance, HR, and supply chain.

He's lived in Philly for more than 15 years – even after discounting the year he and his wife spent backpacking in South America. Occasionally, he finds time for cycling, making photographs, and appreciating great music.

Marilee Yorchack

Marilee Yorchak, CAE, Executive Director, Digital Analytics Association

Before joining the DAA, Yorchak served as Executive Director of the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA), where she presided over the organization's growth from 75 to more than 500 members. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado-Boulder and an MBA from New Mexico State University.

She is well regarded in her profession. She was named "Communicator of the Year" by BMA Colorado and "Association Professional of the Year" by the Colorado Society of Association Executives, and, while in graduate school, she was awarded a Kleid Fellowship from the Direct Marketing Association. She is a frequent speaker/panelist at association executive events. She served on the national editorial advisory board for Association News, and is currently the chair of the editorial committee for the Colorado Society of Association Executives. She is also on the advisory board for the University of Northern Colorado Monfort College of Business, Department of Marketing.
