Tim Wilson Tim is a Senior Director of Analytics at Search Discovery, a digital intelligence company. He has been working in digital analytics since 2001 in a variety of roles -- both client-side and agency-side -- and with a range of analytics platforms. He created his first Excel macros -- complete with a custom toolbar -- in 1998, and he has since blogged, presented, and taught extensively on a range of spreadsheet-oriented topics. He first dipped his keyboard into the world of R in late 2013, but he did not really dive into the platform -- along with a deeper dive into data science and statistics -- until late 2015. He is now on a mission to help build a bridge between the worlds of traditional digital analytics and data science. He is the co-creator of the dartistics.com site -- a resource designed to help fulfill that mission -- and is also a co-host of the bi-weekly Digital Analytics Power Hour podcast (analyticshour.io). |
