Gary Angel Considered one of the leading customer analytics and digital measurement experts in the world, Gary is the CEO and founder of Digital Mortar. Digital Mortar provides comprehensive collection and measurement of the customer journey in retail stores. Previously, Gary led Ernst & Young’s Digital Analytics Practice. EY acquired Gary’s last venture – Semphonic - in 2013. President and founder, Gary grew Semphonic to be the leading digital analytics practices in the United States. Voted the most Influential Industry Contributor by the Digital Analytics Association, Gary blogs at measuringthedigitalworld.com. His book, Measuring the Digital World, was published in 2016 by the Financial Times Press. |

Prof. Ayse Bener Dr. Ayse Basar Bener is a professor and the director of Data Science Laboratory (DSL) in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Ryerson University. She is the director of Big Data in the Office of Provost and Vice President Academic at Ryerson University. She is a faculty research fellow of IBM Toronto Labs Centre for Advance Studies, and affiliate research scientist in St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Her current research focus is big data applications to tackle the problem of decision-making under uncertainty by using machine learning methods and graph theory to analyze complex structures in big data to build recommender systems and predictive models. She is a member of AAAI, INFORMS, AIS, and senior member of IEEE. |

Christopher Berry Christopher is a data scientist. He turns data into product. He does it at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where he leads the product intelligence team. Previously, he founded authintic (sold to 500px in 2014), and led teams at Syncapse and Critical Mass. |

James Glover James Glover is CEO and co-founder of Coherent Path, where he helps top retailers transform their email program into a modern data-driven channel focused on revenue. Prior to Coherent Path, James was VP of Sales at Desktone where he was responsible for accelerating customer adoption and revenue growth from zero to over 100 customers to whom he sold through world class partners like Dell and Time Warner Cable. Before that, James held executive positions at Memento (acquired by Fidelity Information Services) and Watchfire (acquired by IBM). He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

Marilee Yorchak, CAE Before joining the DAA, Yorchak served as Executive Director of the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA), where she presided over the organization's growth from 75 to more than 500 members. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado-Boulder and an MBA from New Mexico State University. She is well regarded in her profession. She was named "Communicator of the Year" by BMA Colorado and "Association Professional of the Year" by the Colorado Society of Association Executives, and, while in graduate school, she was awarded a Kleid Fellowship from the Direct Marketing Association. She is a frequent speaker/panelist at association executive events. She served on the national editorial advisory board for Association News, and is currently the chair of the editorial committee for the Colorado Society of Association Executives. She is also on the advisory board for the University of Northern Colorado Monfort College of Business, Department of Marketing. |
