Are your data visualizations inspiring action or obscuring your valuable insights? If your stakeholders are falling asleep instead of singing your praises, you may not have the tools to deliver data stories in an actionable way. This session will empower you with a powerful, proprietary data storytelling methodology that informs decisions, sparks ideas, inspires action, and makes YOU indispensable. If you’re ready for your valuable insights to get noticed and acted upon, this is the talk for you. Lea Pica |
1:55pm - 2:35pm | Women in Analytics Session: Data for Impact: Bringing Insights to the Business
Bringing insights to a business and making data a core part of business operations is not just about the technical aspect, or even the data itself. In order for insights to have business impact, data needs to be positioned to the stakeholders and users in language that resonates and in a way that makes the benefit clear to them, and there needs to be an opportunity to provide feedback to improve and meet changing needs. In this session, Jennifer will reinforce the importance of keeping the “human” at the center of bringing insights to the business and highlight the key actions an Insights team should take to do this.
