Web analytics solution to be deployed across all online properties
ITV.COM SELECTS NEDSTAT TO PROVIDE REAL-TIME ANALYSIS
London, 1 July 2010 - ITV today announced that it has selected Nedstat as web analytics partner for ITV.com. The online business optimization applications Sitestat and Stream Sense™ will be implemented across all ITV.com online properties, including Live Television (Simulcast) and iPhone apps. Nedstat will provide real-time insight into visitor behavior to help ITV.com optimize content and advertising.
Over the past three years, ITV.com has experienced significant growth in the use of its online properties. In particular, the increase in video views has accelerated with the success of big ITV1 entertainment events such as Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and The X Factor and premium sport including FA Cup and UEFA Champions League. ITV.com has evolved to meet its users and advertisers needs since launch and has undergone a number of refreshes in both design and functionality including the launch of ITV Player and the drive to a more video focused site. With this evolution, the requirements for data collection and web and video reporting have changed increasing the need to deploy a new analytics solution.
After a rigorous evaluation process that included many major web analytics vendors, ITV has selected Nedstat; the key reasons being the enormous flexibility of its solution and the advanced video reporting capabilities.
"With our strong focus on video we were looking for a partner who could help us understand in detail how visitors interact with our content and behave during online advertisements. We found all our requirements in Nedstat’s video analytics product Stream Sense™. With our new partnership, we expect to optimize our content further and improve the experience of our viewers and the commercial opportunities of our advertisers”, says Shorful Islam, Head of Business Information ITV.com.
"We are delighted ITV.com has chosen Nedstat and look forward to helping ITV.com understand and improve visitor engagement with content and advertising. The landscape has changed significantly over the past 18 months with visitor interaction and new concepts such as dual screen engagement. Our remit is to enable ITV to measure any methodology and channel visitors choose to consume ITV.com content today, and in the future”, says Ade Adeosun, Commercial Director UK, Nedstat.
To facilitate a 360 view of ITV.com users Nedstat will fuse the Sitestat analytics data with ITV.com’s data warehouse.
